Recipe Corner

Kadhi Chawal

4 cups sour curd
1 cup gram flour
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander seeds
1/8 tsp asafoetida
7-8 curry leaves
1 large onion(sliced long)
1tsp fenugreek seeds
Salt to taste
3 tbsp oil

For Pakoras:
Oil for frying
2 cups Gram flour
1 onion
2 Potatoes
Salt to taste
1 tsp Dry mango powder
1 tsp Chat Masala(optional)
1 1/2 cup water
* Heat oil in a pan. Put cumin seed, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, coriander seeds then add onion.Heat till it get light brown.

* Add sour curd mixed with gram flour. Let it boil. Keep ur gas on medium flame.

* For pakoras:
Mix gram flour with water. Add salt, dry mango powder, chat masala. Dip onion & potato in a gram flour mix. Fry it in a oil till they get golden brown.

* When kadhi is ready add pakoras in it.

*Serve hot with boiled rice.
