RECIPE CORNER

Vegetable-Au-Gratin
Ingredients:
50 gms french beans(finely chopped)
100gms carrots(finely chopped)
2 large potatoes(sliced)
3 large stiff tomatoes(sliced)
2 large capsicum(sliced)
1 large onion(sliced)
1/2 cup mushrooms(chopped)
1 cup white sauce
salt & black pepper(to taste)
2 tbsp bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 tsp butter

Method:
1. In a microwave safe bowl, microwave butter at 100% power for 30 secs.

2. Line all sliced & chopped vegetables (except tomatoes n mushrooms) in layers. Add white sauce & microwave (covered) at 100% power for 5-6 mins.

3. Add chopped mushrooms, sliced tomatoes, salt n pepper. Microwave (covered) at 100% power for 2 mins.

4. Sprinkle grated cheese & bread crumbs at the top. Bake in the preheated oven at 250 degree centigrade for 10-15 mins on the low rack.

5. Serve hot with dips/sauces.
