Recipe Corner


Cheese Sticks
Ingredients:
Cheese (cubes) 250gms.
Yellow Pepper (cubes) 1
Tomates (cubes) 2
Onion (cubes) 2
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Tooth picks few
For dip:
Coriander n mint leaves 1 cup
Garlic cloves 4-5
Green chillies 3-4
Onion 1
Salt to taste
Raw mango 1
Sugar 3 tbsp

Method:
*Arrange onion, yellow pepper, cheese n tomatoes in tooth pick & set them in a plate.

*Grind all the dip ingredients in mixer & ur dip is ready.

*Sprinkle salt & black pepper on the tooth pick in a plate.Serve them with the dip.

*Before keeping ur woollen cloths in ur bed boxes, check whether they are clean or not. If they r dirty then get them clean or dry clean them.

*U can clean them with brush also to remove dust.

*Before keeping them in Almira, bed boxes or suitcase make them dry in sun shade.

*Never open ur boxes having woollen clothes in them during any humid weather.

*If u r keeping them in bed boxes put some newspaper n then keep ur woollen clothes in it.

*U can use phenol tablets in between clothes to get rid of worms etc.

Shy Child
Today i am writing about the shy children. Any child who is shy totally depends on their parents for their needs. Such children are not even able to express themselves due to lack of confidence. For e.g. when u say hello to such a child they do not give u any reply but try to hide himself beside their parents or anything lying close to him. Generally we hear from some parents that there baby is shy .
According to child specialists the shy nature in children create hurdles in the development of their brain. Even if they are capable to do lot of tasks but some how they are weak or can't express their feelings in front of others.

How to get rid of this problem?

*Try to spend sometime with ur child even if ur schedule is too busy.
*Whenever any guest come to ur place, introduce ur child to them & talk about his abilities & achievements. This will help to increase his self esteem & confidence.
*Talk to ur child as much as u can. With this u can get much closer to ur child.
*Try to make him practical in life. Make him know about various rituals in ur family and about the outside world.
*Tell him about great people.
*Send him to picnic or summer camps during his vacation.
*Don't compare him with any other child.
*Make him include discipline in his life. Motivate him to participate in each activity happening in their school.
*Don't force things on ur child. Every child is special & has his own interest n abilities. Never judge them on ur own basis.

Recipe Corner


Spicy Pineapple & Pomegranate Yogurt
Ingredients:
Yogurt 2 cups
Pomegranate seeds 1/2 cup
Pineapple cubed tinned 3-4 slices
Sea salt to taste
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Red chili flakes 1/4 tsp
Fresh mint chopped for garnishing.

Method:
*First whisk the yogurt.

*Add sea salt. Roast the cumin seeds & make a coarse powder.Add it to yogurt.

*Mix chopped pineapple, pomegranate, red chili flakes & chopped mint leaves into the yogurt.

*Garnish with pomegranate seeds & mint leaves.

*Serve chilled.

Recipe Corner


Fish Fingers
Ingredients:
1 kg finger shaped de-boned Fish pieces
2 pods garlic
salt to taste
4 tbsp vinegar
5 cm piece ginger
3 tsp chilli powder
3 eggs beaten
Breadcrumbs for binding
Oil for deep frying

Method:
Grind ginger & garlic to smooth paste. Mix together this paste & remaining ingredients- except the eggs, breadcrumbs & oil & marinate fish in this mixture for 2 hrs.
Roll the marinated fish pieces in beaten egg 7 breadcrumbs. Heat oil in a pan & deep fry the pieces to golden brown.
Serve hot with fries, lettuce leaves & sauce.

Tips for Bathing Baby
!. Make ur baby bath in warm n cozy room.
2. Keep a basin of water nearby & a thick towel so that u can immediately clean her after giving her bath.
3.If ur baby don't like bathing or cries when she is uncovered then try to clean her parts one by one not removing all the clothes at the same time.
4.Water should be warm neither too hot nor too cool. Give it a wrist test before using it.
5.Use cotton gloves to give her a bath as it protects ur baby from slipping in ur hands.
6.Use mild soap for ur baby skin as its too soft. Don't use soap on her face as it can irritate her delicate eyes.
7.U can make her bathing time interesting by putting some rubber toys in her bath tub.

Recipe Corner


Indian cuisine : Dum Aloo
Ingredients:
Potatoes 90gms
Oil for deep frying
Olive oil 1/2cup
Onion 1 large
Tomato puree 4 tbsp
Water 3/4 cup
Salt to taste
Curd 140 ml
Green pepper 1
Garam masala 1 tsp

Spices :
Cloves 4
Bay leaves 4
Black peppercorn 6
Green cardamom 4
cinnamon stick 1 piece

For paste:
Onion 1 large
Garlic 4 flakes
Ginger 2tbsp
Black peppercorn 6
Poppy seeds 1 tsp
Coriander seeds 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Dry red chillies 2
Turmeric Powder 1tsp

Method :
#Prick potatoes wit fork n soak for 2 hrs in salted water.
#Then deep fry.
#Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion & all spices in it. Cook till it gets golden .
#Grind all the paste ingredients in to a fine paste n add it in to onion.
#Cook for few mins. Stir in tomato puree,curd n salt
#Add potatoes & hot water& stir over low flame for 5 mins.
#Sprinkle dum aloo with pepper & garam masala & cook for few mins more.

Anger is very harmful for our health. With a very little try we can control our anger. So here are some tips to control ur anger.

*Use ur energy to do positive things. Yoga is the best to have control over ur energy. Exercises performed on daily routine basis help us to utilise our energy for positive things.

*Practice breathing exercises for 10 min. Like inhale a deep breath n then exhale it.It is proved that it helpful for our nervous system.

*Count 100 n it help to reduce ur anger. Sometimes we forget it but with practice u can learn n control ur anger.

*Whenever u r in anger try to find out that pulse or nerve which is tense n try to relax it. u will feel that ur heart beat will also slow down with that n u feel good.

*Write down all the problems n a piece of paper n also about that person u r angry with, write down whatever u want to say to that person n then flush it off.

*When u r angry with a person, imagine that that he/she is sitting in front of u n then yell at that person. U will feel relaxed.

*Adopt a habit of diary writing n write how many times u got angry in a day, when ,where n the reason of ur anger. with this u will came to know about the vicious circle of ur anger n next time u will be able to control it.

*Try out to express ur anger in a right way. Like if u r angry with a person u can write him a letter or email.

*Don't react at the same time when u r in anger.

*Share ur anger with someone close to u.

*Sometimes we get angry due to our lotz of wishes which we r not fulfilled. Try to control your wishes.

*Have patience. Before reacting with anger, write down whole thing on a piece of a paper n next day have a look on it n then think about the whole matter. And mostly u feel that this matter is not actually irritating u.

Today we all r so much busy in our lifestyles that we didn't get time to do our minor courses & in that the most difficult one is setting ur wardrobe. Ladies generally prefer to wear different clothes for different occassions like we all have different office wear, party wear, day wear n night wear. So to handle all this stuff we need to be particular about our taste for a wardrode. One should set up its wardrobe accordingly so that ur time should not be wasted before going anywhere.It should be done according to once convenience.

#For party wear: These dresses should be separated from daily wear. Always keep them well pressed or dry clean them n keep them well protected in covers n hang them with hangers in ur wardrobe. Whenever u will wear these dresses for any occasion. u will feel happy about it.

#For Office wear: Office going ladies should keep their dress ready on different shelf to be wear next day so that ur time should not be wasted before going to office. Always wear comfortable dress for office, so that they don't distract ur attention n u feel confident in that. Don't try to wear such clothes which became a matter of fun for others.

#For Day wear: Choose ur day wear as u feel comfrtable in them.These dresses should be kept on one separate shelf. Also choose such dresses which u r able to handle properly. U should have that attitude to wear that dress.

#For Night wear: Always wear hot n attractive night wear. Don't wear nylon dres while going to sleep becoz they r generally harmful for ur skin n create rashes. Wear only those dresses through which ur skin can rest. Don't choose tight clothes as ur night wear. Provide a proper space for night wears so they can't get mixed in ur other clothes.

#Jewellery: Before going to any occasion or ur office try to wear some matching jewellery with that. It's not neccessary to wear gold or diamonds daily but u can opt for pearls, gems,silver or artificial jewellery. Jewellery should have its proper space in ur wardrobe so that u can easily match n wear ur jewellery with ur dress.

4.Homemade cleansers :* To clean up ur skin use juice of cucumber n milk mixed in equal proportions.
* For oily skin juice of potato mixed with curd can be applied on skin n wash
in after 4-5 mins.
